About Us

Southern Grove Primary School is located in the rapidly growing suburb of Southern River, nestled within a residential area close to parks, natural bushland and local shopping centres. Established in 2018, our school features contemporary, purpose-built facilities including early childhood and primary classrooms, a library, undercover assembly area, tennis courts, and dedicated spaces for science, music and visual arts. Our students learn in exceptional indoor and outdoor environments, supported by access to cutting-edge technology.

Teaching and learning align with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority of Western Australia, with differentiated approaches ensuring each student’s individual needs are met. Specialist subjects include Science, Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts and Auslan. Our early childhood programs focus on purposeful play alongside explicit instruction in literacy and numeracy, while our upper primary programs incorporate inquiry-based learning supported by explicit teaching in core areas.
