If I had to describe myself in three words, I would say that I am conscientious, organised and sincere.

My husband Leon and I are a blended family and have 7 children between us aged from 6 up to 24. The benefit of such a large family is having a very real experience in dealing with natural differences, challenges and strengths and the various learning styles people have; so that I can always adapt my communication to the person and the situation.

Nominating for the School Board is my way of actively participating in our school community and being engaged in my children’s valuable learning journey.

In my professional life I am Senior Information Officer for Curtin University working in Information Management, Freedom of Information, Privacy and Archives.  I completed a double degree in Librarianship and Corporate Information Management. I also hold a Graduate Certificate in Business Leadership and a Diploma in Art & Design.

I formerly served as P&C Secretary (2018-2020); I am web and social media administrator for my church and this is my fourth term as Board Chair for Southern Grove Primary School.  I have previously been an elected member of Parish Council; I probably own way too many books and I am an executive member of the amateur theatre group Centre-Stage Theatre Group.
