I am the first generation of my family to be born in Australia coming from a Chinese background. I have two children at Southern Grove who share a Chinese-Mauritian cultural background.

 

I have had a passionate interest in the school’s development and community from the beginning. I was a member of the steering committee in the initial foundation of the school, assisting in establishing its official name. I have also been an active member of the P and C committee since its inauguration. With my background in education, being a Secondary Science Teacher in an Independent Public School, I am familiar with the polices and procedures that come with education.

 

My experience in secondary teaching enables me to have an insight into the educational requirements of students and how to best facilitate the growth of the children at Southern Grove in order to transition them into their next stage of learning.
